This form came (with permission) from the Forest Service camp at Mono Lake. This is a California form of a plant that is very wide ranging that grows in middle elevations in Calif. and across the U.S.. It has rippled goosefoot leaves and 1inch blue-pink tiped white flowers on 6inchstems. It looks like a fancy moderately showy garden plant. (It will attract you from 20-50 feet over to look at it.) It should grow fine in a regular perennial garden. Total plant is only a foot tall (or less). It flowers in mid-summer at our location. Debate has moved to whether it is native or not and if we should even grow it.
