Description

A high elevation shrub, 4-6' high and 8' wide, has a tendency to go deciduous in the winter cold,and summer heat leaving a spiny bush with white bark , fragrant white flowers, useful as large scale groundcover in high elevations or heavy snow areas. This high elevation Ceanothus is a very slow pain at lower elevations. At higher elevations(about 2000 meters, 5000-6000 feet) Whitethorn is a fast growing large scale groundcover.
