Description
Yucca brevifolia, Joshua tree, grows to 20 feet tall (not in our life-time). They need sun, perfect drainage and little or no summer water. Native from Southern California to Utah. There are many forms of this plant. It is a very important wildlife plant in its range. Jaeger said that 25 species of birds use these as nesting sites.
