Found along the coasts of California, outer north coast ranges, the San Joaquin and Sacramento Valleys, central Sierra Nevada foothills, San Francisco Bay, Channel Islands, Peninsular Ranges, the California deserts, To Washington, eastern U.S., South America, Eurasia.(Syn.
