Description
A plant that grows right on the ocean in straight beach sand. You usually don't find it growing past the first dune or so. Beach Evening Primrose can grow in most coastal communities but it can't take much frost nor clay. Grey and yellow that you can add into a beach planting. New name is Camissonia cheiranthifolia ssp. suffruticosa. This plant should work great in coastal perennial gardens.
