Description
Lilium parryi, Lemon Lily, has large 3 inch wide and 4 inch long lemon yellow flowers that have a delightful fragrance. Lemon Lily is native from middle to high elevations in southern California and Arizona. Lemon lily is very easy to grow. It just needs water and some cool winter temperatures. Kearney & Peebles states "One of the handsomest and showiest plants of Arizona, with fragrant flowers." With part shade and regular water it has been very showy here for years, in the central California coast ranges. Great for a mountain cabin or an English flower garden.
