Heuchera pilosissima, Hairy Alum Root, grows in coastal areas mostly in the shade, and  the flowers keep their color, in the cool temperatures.   - grid24_24
A perennial with grape-like leaves and a 1' flower spike of pinkish-white flowers. Small, clumping plants for shady places, will stand some drought but look best with garden conditions, mixed with woodsy plants. Grows native on coastal bluffs. (Syn. H. merriamii)
