Description
Erysimum menziesii is a one foot high and wide perennial with bright yellow flowers, native on sand dunes Ft. Bragg to Humboldt, on the rare list. Very easy to grow. We began to think of it as a weed because it is all over the nursery. Menzies' wallflower always seems to be in flower. It has been stable in perennial or annual form in the ground here for years. It is not aggressive but one or two will usually seed back in if the first plant dies. Hardy to somewhere around 0F, -20C.
