Almost indentical to Eriastrum. austromontanum. A 1ft perennial. with bright blue flowers. It grows in gravelly soil. Very showy when in flower, invisible when not. Very drought tolerant. Native to many inland valleys and mountains.
Eriastrum densifolium var. elongatum tolerates sand.
