Description

A Diplacus puniceus with flowers that have red, orange, yellow flowers. Apparently introduced in the early 1990's by Dagmar Collins from seed that came from Gerta Isenberg (Yerba Buena). Randy Baldwin of San Marcos Growers really likes this one. It does very well in coastal California. Very stable and beautiful along the coast to Santa Barbara. Not cold hardy below the low twenties. (It froze out of both nurseries.) Mix with other monkey flowers, Click here for more about Monkeys in California
