Clarkia cylindrica, Farewell to Spring

Description

Speckled Clarkia or one of the flowers called Farewell to Spring. We do not sell these as container plants. They are rapidly being replaced by Ripgut, Bromus diandrus as they favor the same situations. Under oaks, on north or east facing slopes. California had to have been paradise before the we brought our weeds and resulting fires. It is a real challenge to actively support this wildflower while suppressing weeds.
