Description

syn Buphthalmum sagittata, Espeletia s., E. helianthoides, Balsamorhiza h.. Arrowleaf balsamroot grows from the Southern Sierra Nevada mountains up in British Columbia and across to Colorado. A large perennial with large flowers to butterflies and people like. Birds like the seed. Arrowleaf balsamroot is a show stopper if a perennial garden. Looks like a bouquet of sunflowers on a head of lettuce.
