'Point Reyes' manzanita has lovely dark green leaves. It grows rapidly as long as it has regular irrigation to get established. Its final height is 2-5 inches tall and width is 10 feet. This is a coastal Manzanita so it needs part shade or high shade in the interior heat. It makes a wonderful flat mat of green.

In the wild such these plants can be found near each other,  Arctostaphylos 'Pt. Reyes', Armeria maritima var. californica, Artemisia pycnocephala, Ceanothus gloriosus, Ceanothus thyrsiflorus repens, Erigeron glaucus, Eriogonum latifolium, Eriophyllum staechadifolium, Grindelia hirsutula, Lupinus arboreus, and Solidago spathulata.
