Catalog and class questions

1. Hey. I live up here in northern Cal. on the edge of the Great Basin( we
are 2 miles from Nev. and 50mile from Ore. Zone 5 ( some people consider us a
zone 6, fools) Any how I liked your site and would like any info on native plants( you have a catalog?)
Aside from that I am loooking for a Sophora Japonica tree, you have any
that you can ship to here?
I have been planting some natives and we plan on making a pond.
2. OK Bert can you seng me a catalog? If they cost money send me your phone
number and I'll calll and give you a credit card or send a check which ever
you prefer. I'll keep looking for a Japonica unless you can suggest a native
that would be a nice shade tree(decidious) for the south east side of the
house. We get BIG winds from that direction so it needs to have deep roots.
Close to house too( 30 ft.)
1. nope, how do you put 5000+ pages into a printed version, we gave up

2. we only do native(the japonica should give it away) and we do ship
Are there any classes being planned for out there again..I see the
class notes on the site are from years past...
Good enough...I'm working my way through the 3000 + pages and enjoying
every minute of it...Thanks for putting it all online...there's some web
site out there that is about California native plants, but the author wants 5-9 dollars an article!! You have to pay to read it!
Once again, you guys ROCK
I am"unworthy"

Thanks :)

PS? I do have a trivia question..I'm sure this is on the site somewhere but
I havn't found it yet so could you clairify..
I notice that in planting instructions many times it included placing a rock next to the baby plant along with mulching and so on. Why the rock??
Thanks

nope
we moved everything to the web
both of us got burned out doing extention classes, college
classes(Celeste taught labs for a breif while) and classes here.
Sorry
read the pages,(all 3800 of them?) and if you want more start reading
through the references.

Your website is great, especially for teaching.... we are a non profit
who works with high school students to learn about planting
natives...... your information is a great resource.... do you by
chance have a hard copy of the information that we can purchase for
our facility so students can look at? We don't have web access at our
14 acre facility where they do their project.
Thanks.....and Great job.
link to us and share with others...
the Escondido crew went to Kinkos and had some old ones coallated into a
black a white 'book'. The web has twice(four times?) the content and is
up to date, the catalog was dropped because there was too much and
something had to give.
$35 and no whining if you wish it, as it's far from perfect.
