A very small manzanita that grows on one of the hills south of Lompoc. Similar to Arctostaphylos myrtifolia with its delicate leaves and sprawling habit. Do not use as a screen, grows to maybe two feet tall and three or so feet wide. I would use this manzanita in a small east facing bed or along a cool retaining wall where it can soften the top as it drapes over, looking VERY different.
