Native to the sand dunes of San Francisco Bay. This is a rare plant. Our mother plant was happy and spreading in decomposed granite until the dec. 1990 frost froze it back to the roots. It has since recovered and is beginning to grow again. This is a 1-2' perennial with a 1" yellow button for a flower. Our plants had shown no damage at 12 deg. , blitzed at @8.
