A 4-6' evergreen shrub. The 1" flowers rose-purple in Jun.-Dec.. It has white, fuzzy foliage. Native to Huasna area above Arroyo Grande. It likes sun, little water after the first month or two. A showy full moon grey plant that butterflies frequent. I'm uncertain how hardy it is but its native range got to 15 deg. f. in 1990. It is doing fine in Bakersfield.
