A very big coarse Rush that has edges. I have seen these rushes in only two spots so far, both in the mountains, one in Sequoia at 7500 ft and one in Mt. Abel area at 5000 ft. (It does grow every where wet in the state.) In the nursery it has spread along the edge of the riparian area and made itself a home. Use as a wet bank stabilizer. It will sucker everywhere wet. Do not use in a heavily watered yard unless you are into punishing the gardener.
Juncus oxymeris Pointed Rush tolerates salt, clay, no drainage and seasonal flooding.
Juncus oxymeris Pointed Rush's foliage type is stressdeciduous.
Juncus oxymeris Pointed Rush's flower color is yellow.
