Symphoricarpos rotundifolius, Roundleaf Snowberry and Mountain Snowberry.
A 3-4' deciduous sub-shrub, with small pink flowers. We've seen this plant N. of Bishop next to Pinus jeffreyi, Purshia tridentata and glandulosa, Eriogonum umbellatum var. chlorothamnus and Penstemon Bridgesii. It grows in full sun in fairly dry sites in granite-based soils.
