Silene verecunda verecunda, San Francisco Campion.

Description

A little rare and endangered weed that grows in the sand on the San Francisco Peninsula. It is very stable in our location and is actually sreading. The flowers are ok but it always looks like it is going to flower beautifully but never quite makes it. The foliage is light grey green and the flowers are pink.
