Description
A perennial with small yellow flowers, that will grow well in shady areas of oak woodland under trees such as Quercus douglasii and Pinus Sabiniana, with Achillea millefolium, Galium sp., Thysanocarpus sp. This small, perennial with beautiful, divided leaves will grow in coarse, sandy loam soil. Sanicle does poorly in deep soils where alien grasses bury it and is recommended for an undisturbed, weed-and-grass-free, woodland garden. Grows best in interior areas of California. POISONOUS
