Gilia tenuiflora grows in one of our fields and is very similar to Bird's Eye Gilia.
Description
A small little annual with somewhat tubular purple flowers and yellow centers. Massed they can be quite showy. We have seen them in many soils and many climates on the edges of the foothills or San Joaquin Valley.
