The Dune Wallflower grows in the sand along the coast of San Luis Obispo county. It is a one to two foot tall perennial with bright yellow flowers. The botanists cannot agree what it is but it is a cute little plant that behaves itself. Dune Wallflower likes full sun, and sand. It has gray foliage and is stress deciduous. In its native habitat the Dune Wallflower helps to stabilize coastal sand dunes.
