A little perennial that inhabits partially shaded dry woody slopes in the Sierras and N.Calif. Mtns. It fuzzy green leaves look something like a minature New Zealand Spinach. The flowers are insignificant but the plant makes a great show of presenting them.(I waited in anticipation the first time it flowered in the nursery, nothing much.)
