Description
An evergreen tree to 50 ft (not in your lifetime, maybe your kids or grandkids). A slow growing cypress. It might be a bonsai candidate. A very tough cypress that belongs in tough situations. It is best in good drainage with some water until established. We have never had cold damage. It is serpentine tolerant, has gray foliage and cherry red bark. . It is one of the grayest cypresses. In a bad location, such as some of the serpentine or volcanic outcroppings, this rare plant is excellent.
