Description

A deciduous shrub that grows to 4' in bad conditions and 10' in moist shade. It has brown stems, green/brown/red leaves, creamy white flower clusters. It is always next to or in a stream. It grows down the road from us in sun or shade. It gives a nice show each spring with flowers, in the fall with leaf color (bright red) and then with berries the birds eat. In the garden it becomes a very refined looking bush that is covered with flowers.
