Description
A plant that looks like bunch grass that grows in seeps or along seasonal creeks. In our county it occurs in coastal seasonal seeps.
Syn. Carex harfordii, Carex sub-bracteata, Carex gracilor, Carex montereyensis, Carex macloviana subfusca, Carex festiva stricta, Carex stenoptera. Hoover rants about how this species has been arbitrariily split into species. The keys flip-flop with names. Abrams has best key but has been questioned since its 1923 publication.
