Manzanita bark
Description
Pinkbract Manzanita has slightly fuzzy sticky foliage and flowers. Gray foliage starts out kinda pink and grows out green-gray. Because the flower bracts can be red, the flower cluster can appear to be very large and pink. Native from about 20 miles south of Big Bear down into Mt. Palomar and the Lagunas. Pinkbract Manzanita grows in most California gardens with little or no water and care.
