Description

A perennial allium with beautiful pink flowers, needs dry summer conditions, best growing in a wild garden. Grows in central oak woodland, in the central western portion of California. Best in clumps for a showy effect. Grows in heavier soils, and will grow in serpentine. Does best in part shade of the oaks and pines, will grow with grasses as companions, such as Poa scabrella (Poa secunda ssp. secunda), and will even grow with some of the alien, annual grasses, such as Bromus sp.
