Machaeranthera lagunensis

No current common name.

(Machaeranthera asteroides var. lagunensis)A wonderful perennial from around Big Bear down through San Diego County and into Baja. A meadow/open forest/ chaparral species that grows well in an english garden situation. Difficult for non-native folks or hard core native nuts either. If you have a home at 5000-7000 ft. in the Southern Mountains that is seasonally wet, this one is a winner.
