Lobelia dunnii serrata
Dunn's lobelia and Blue Lobelia.
A perennial with 1" blue flowers on 1' plant. It grows in wet spots along the S. Ca. Coast. Use as small scale groundcover in among rocks where there is moisture. Good for sun or part-shade. Our mother plants have survived here for years with total neglect in wet and then dry conditions. Every year, when the weather turns to winter, it dies to the ground, to come back each spring. Great butterfly plant. Adult butterflies large and small, love to sip nectar from the flowers.
